Crayon Molding!
Have you ever wanted a crayon to be a different size or shape? If so this craft is for you!
You will need...
Have you ever wanted a crayon to be a different size or shape? If so this craft is for you!
You will need...
- Peeled crayons
- A mold
- tweezers ( If you're using a candle.)
- An oven or a candle (The oven is better for big pieces and the candle for small pieces.)
Oven...
- Take your peeled crayon(s) and put them into your mold.
- Set they oven to 170 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Let the crayons bake for about 10 mins checking in on them every now and then.
- If the crayons don't seem to be melting then increase the temperature to 220 degrees Fahrenheit and do the exact same thing.
- Once you have taken the crayons out of they oven let them completely cooled before you pop it out of its mold.
Candles...
- Take your peeled crayon(s) and light your candle.
- Then carefully put one of your crayons into the tweezer and hold it near the candle to melt.
- Let the crayon liquid drip into your mold.
- Once you have filled the mold let it cool down and then pop the newly shaped crayon out of your mold.
